Influences
In the interest of not having any hidden agendas or sources and also in giving credit where credit is due I list below the major influences and background that I have been exposed to.
Many among the list have links established to more information on these sources. Happy perusing.
Currently I am reading:
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as interpreted by Alice A. Bailey in her book The Light of the Soul;
The Bhagavad Gita for Daily Living by Eknath Easwaran;
The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East by Baird Spalding;
The Laws of Life, Maitreya’s Teachings by Benjamin Creme;
I also regularly attend a Unity Church.
Other lasting influences in my thinking are:
The Bible;
A Course in Miracles;
The Ageless Wisdom Teachings as represented in the other works by Alice A. Bailey;
The writings by Benjamin Creme concerning the emergence of Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom;
The Long Journey Home By George Catlin;
When the Soul Awakens, by Nancy Seifer and Martin Vieweg;
The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle;
The Urantia Book;

Conversations with God by Neal Donald Walsh;
The Book of Co-Creation, The Revelation By Barbara Marx Hubbard;
The Starseed Transmissions by Raphael (Ken Carey);
The Tao Te Ching by Lao Ztu;
The Science of Mind by Earnest Holmes;

My upbringing in the American Baptist Denomination;
and there are many other influences not the least of which are, perhaps to their chagrin, mom and dad.
